PC Requirements

Insight does not require an expensive computer system in order to operate. Usually any computer purchased after 2002 will be sufficient to run Insight. We have clients operating Insight on 10 year old computers but we don't recommend trying this unless you have to. In order to ensure that Insight is able to function optimally, please make sure you computer has plenty of RAM (memory) and a fast hard disk drive. The specifications for computers as well as network servers are listed below:

Computer (Minimum)

Pentium III
Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7
256 MB Ram (more is always better)
75 MB Free space on your hard drive
Video card and screen capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution or higher

Computer (Recommended)

Pentium IV 2.0 GHz and higher
Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7
512MB Ram (more is always better)
250MB Free space on your hard drive
Video card and screen capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution or higher

Network Server (Recommended)

Pentium IV 2.0 GHz and higher
Windows 2000, Server 2003, or Server 2008
512MB Ram (more is always better)
250MB Free space on your hard drive
Video card and screen capable of displaying 1024 x 768 resolution or higher
